I wrote previously about going with the flow and using your passion to manifest your visions. Well, what about when you are the rock in the middle of turbulence? What happens when you are your own worst enemy.
Many times we find ourselves getting in the way of our own successes and quite often it is fear that drives us to do so. We let negative thoughts fill in the blanks in our “what if” statements. But what if you reject those negative thoughts and instead fill those blanks with positive ones? What if I am successful?
When we fill in our blanks with the negative, the flow is all around us, yet we are going no where. We are stuck. Stuck is never a good place to be. We need to envision our successes as if they have already happened. See them, feel them, know them, then let your passion flow through you to fulfill them.
I read an interesting article today relevant to this subject. I love how serendipitous life can be sometimes. I wasn’t out looking for this information, it just kind of fell into my lap. That’s what living life in the flow is like. You are provided with what you need, when you need it.
The article is found on Web Worker Daily entitled Success: Are You Getting In Your Own Way? in which Amber Riviere gives some pretty solid advice on how to get out of your way and stop being the rock. She says that you need to not just rid yourself of your fears, but embrace them and overcome them. She references Wayne Dyer’s book, “Excuses Begone” that has some excellent tips on how to achieve this.
I think the outlined approach Amber wrote out is a good starting point. Once you can free yourself and go with the flow, there will be no stopping you.
